I am a believer in Dreams. I believe life is short and quality counts. Trauma, Victim Issues, Domestic Violence & Abuse issues are my primary focus. I have been working with Victims and Survivors for over twenty years.
I am curious about your life and how you handle things. I love animals and nature and take a holistic approach to therapy.
With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and over 3 years of experience, I work with adults experiencing grief and a loss of identity related to childhood trauma, family dynamics, and significant life transitions. If you're struggling with boundaries, attachment patterns in relationships, or persistent feelings of not being enough or unworthy of love, you're in the right place. Together, we'll explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you reconnect with your sense of self and move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.
Mental health counseling is a form of help that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of many individuals. Some mental health professionals, including me, intentionally incorporate spiritual or religious elements into their therapeutic practices. I do so because I primarily serve a Christian community, because my clients also adhere to religious principles in their own lives, and I subscribe to the belief that people experiencing distress can especially benefit from the help of God and spiritual empowerment.
I'm a trilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Portuguese & Spanish). I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University. I provide therapy services in-person and via telehealth to individuals (18+) struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma issues, OCD, DID, self-esteem, self-harm, and grief and loss.
As your therapist, I bring several years of experience supporting individuals and families through crisis, healing, and transformation. My background spans emergency departments, inpatient care, child welfare, hospice, and community mental health—each setting has shaped my trauma-informed, solution-focused, and client-centered approach.
I currently accept individual adult clients only through Headway. I do not provide couples or family therapy through this platform at this time.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and LGBTQ+ clients seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional healing, and more connected relationships. My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, honesty, and meaningful connection.
I specialize in relationship therapy, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, attachment wounds, complex trauma, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. I also support clients navigating life transitions, grief, shame, self-worth, communication challenges, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and others.
My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, humanistic and existential therapy, and trauma-informed care. I help clients slow down, listen inward, understand their patterns, and develop more compassionate and empowered ways of relating.
As a queer-affirming therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and relationships. I strive to create a space where clients can bring their full selves—without judgment—and explore healing in a way that honors their identities, histories, relationships, spirituality, and lived experience.
I bring a deep well of experience supporting people through some of life's hardest moments. My background spans hospital ER crisis work, oncology and end-of-life care, and geriatric mental health with veterans at the VA, including those in the early stages of memory loss and the caregivers supporting them. I've also worked closely with homeless veterans, individuals navigating grief and loss, PTSD, and those trying to leave domestic violence situations. Alongside this, I support clients with anxiety and depression, and I enjoy working with teens as well. Whatever you're carrying, chances are I've sat with someone facing something similar, and I bring that experience with me into our work together.
