Hi! I'm Jeffery Clark. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of Spokane, Washington. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2019 with my masters in social work with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders. I have over seven years of experience working with all phases of patient care to include hospital settings and outpatient co-occurring services. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents, military, and first responders as they navigate life’s challenges and heal from trauma. Hope. Honesty. Humility. These are my guiding principles. Therapy is already draining, so I present a laid back and approachable perspective to meet you where you are and help identify and fulfill the goals you have created.
I support children, families and adults through all facets of life and take careful time to understand their specific needs, dynamics, identity, background and experience when exploring treatment plans and goal. I support families and children as they are going through divorce or custody changes, including reunification therapy. I also offer support with children with challenging behaviors. For adults I support with transitions no matter your season of life, with a focus on trauma and attachment. Whether a new mom, transitioning high school student or new retiree.
As your therapist, my belief is simple: everyone deserves someone in their corner as they navigate life’s challenges. Talking through what we carry is often the first step toward understanding the barriers that shape our day‐to‐day experiences. For the past 20 years, I’ve had the honor of supporting adults and youth facing trauma, transitions, and mental health concerns. I’m currently open to working with anyone who is seeking a new perspective, a different approach, or a space to explore what’s happening in their life with honesty and support.
I earned my MSW from Eastern Washington University and have spent the past eight years working as a therapist and supervisor. I also founded my private practice two years ago. My work has focused on clients experiencing neurodivergence, ADHD, and OCD.
Real growth happens in a space where you feel truly heard and understood. Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with clients to help them navigate life’s heavy seasons, work through stress and anxiety, and embrace major transitions.
My approach is grounded in partnership, honoring your unique perspective and identifying your core strengths. Together, we’ll explore your coping mechanisms and develop practical strategies to support you on your way toward your life goals. You don't have to navigate it alone—let's unlock your potential together and create lasting change.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 18years of nursing experience dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and well-being across diverse populations. I am a graduate of Saint Louis State University, Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing’s master’s program. My specialties include working with patients struggling with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Mood Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Eating Disorders. I take an integrated approach to treatment, focusing on individualized care plans that include medication management and ongoing support
I believe healing happens best when compassion and laughter meet. In our work together, you'll find a space grounded in honesty, vulnerability, and genuine human connection-free of judgment, filled with support, and occasionally lightened by humor. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, deepen your relationships, and reconnect with what brings meaning to your life.
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples and families. My background spans schools, community behavioral health, clinics and private practice. I specialize in eating disorders (adolescents and adults), communication, identity development, and family-of-origin work, helping clients build awareness and lasting change.
You can’t break out of a cage you’re still trying to decorate. I’ve been many people’s 4th/5th/8th/9th therapist and been told they felt like something finally clicked for them. I care about it clicking. My approach is based on self-compassion and living an integrated life. Even if you’re motivated to change, it’s still hard because negative events can shape beliefs about the world and ourselves that we often don’t even realize we hold. So we start with self-compassion, and then work on trying to bring our actions into alignment with our goals. I’ve been a therapist for over a decade now, and I promise – self-compassion is the move.
I work with individual adults and certain families who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, sad, lonely, sensitive, anxious, or defeated. If you're feeling heavy by everything going on, or feeling frantic, or having conflict in your relationships or are just feeling lost in any way, I would love to see if I can help! I also work with family units going through transition or strain, such as conflict between a parent and their adult child, or supporting parents who are experiencing difficult things with their child or teen.
I have a lot of experience helping people through loss, whether it's a breakup, losing a job, or a loved one - including loss of a pet, which is a specialty of mine. I have special interest in supporting other therapists, and also community organizers and activists who are engaged in social justice work. Many of my clients are trans or NB, and others are gay, lesbian, or queer. Poly and kink affirming.
I offer telehealth services to clients in California, Idaho, Washington, or Virginia.
I have worked with clients and their families in various capacities for the past 12 years. I have found that I love helping people heal from past traumas and overcome whatever is holding them back. Through my training, I have found that the brain and body have incredible healing mechanisms hardwired into them. I am honored to be able to help others unlock those healing aspects and to help people enjoy their lives more fully. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies and later completed my Master of Arts in Counseling at Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington.
It's not easy starting therapy and investing time in yourself, but you've already done the first step! My experience has primarily been focused in clients with eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses. With that said, I also have extensive experience working with relationship challenges, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidality. I generally like to pull from my knowledge of various therapy modalities such as DBT, CBT, FBT and EFFT. I also really enjoy self-compassion work. Your goals are always my top priority, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy live music, spending time with friends, and hanging out with my dogs, Nala and Toni. These personal interests help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, which I believe is crucial for overall well-being.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to help you navigate your journey towards healing and growth. Let's work together to achieve your goals!
I’m Dr. Sean Burson, a licensed therapist in Washington and Idaho. My background includes work in hospice care, ministry, and military settings, which has shaped how I listen and care for people. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence and value building real trust with my clients. I believe our stories deeply shape who we are, and therapy can help us understand and rewrite them with intention and hope.
