Hello, I’m Veronica Powers, founder and lead therapist at CAVU Counseling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, a CACREP-accredited program.
I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and hold the Equine-Assisted Mental Health Practitioner (EAMHP) certification from the University of Denver. I provide virtual and in-person individual psychotherapy as well as equine-integrated psychotherapy at our Keystone Heights location offering a unique experiential environment that supports emotional growth, self-regulation, and connection.
I work with individuals of all ages, addressing concerns such as trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and complex family dynamics. My professional background also includes hands-on experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis which has strengthened my understanding of behavioral interventions and child development.
My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and rooted in resilience, focusing on helping clients build insight, self-efficacy, and meaningful change through evidence-based and experiential methods.
I'm Raven Jackson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Jacksonville, FL. I earned my Master's of Education from Old Dominion University in Virginia, and my professional experience spans outpatient and private practice settings. Many of my clients come to me carrying something heavy they've been pushing down for too long, anything from the daily strain of adjusting to a hard life change to the deeper imprint of post-traumatic stress. I specialize in helping clients understand the mind-body connection and how it can become a real source of healing.
