I always operate off of this model, "Everything I've gone through I have gotten through."
A core priority in my work is helping clients reclaim the power of their voice. Therapy is most meaningful as a collaborative process where you are not only heard, but truly attempted to be known. As an Iranian American therapist, I understand the richness and complexity of holding multiple cultural identities. I especially enjoy supporting Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), as well working with teenagers and adults navigating identity formation, relationships, and the often tender process of growing into themselves. There’s room here for deep healing, honest conversations, and the occasional ‘okay, but why is my brain doing THAT?’
I specialize in helping teens and young people find their voice and find their path. I love what I do because I get to help people find belonging and community beyond themselves, while also freeing them from their mind's limitations.
My style as a therapist is best described as engaged, warm, nonjudgmental and creative. I strive to offer a space in which you will feel that anything can be talked about and expressed — nothing is too small or too big. Through our work together you will grow in your ability to tolerate and move through difficult emotions, find meaning in your experiences and relationships and cultivate an inner resilience and flexibility in thinking.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine engagement into our virtual sessions. My own path has given me a deep respect for the courage it takes to understand yourself and make meaningful changes. My education and professional experience have prepared me to work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, loneliness, life transitions, and self-worth. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, self-aware adults who want to understand themselves more deeply and create lasting change.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jessica. Thank you for checking out my profile. Finding the right therapist can be a bit of a process, and I appreciate you considering my services. I specialize in working with high-achievers, highly-sensitive/empath people, influences and content creators who are balancing career, relationships, and personal wellbeing. Many of my clients come to me exhausted from burnout or carrying deep relationship wounds—whether from breakups, divorce, or ongoing relationship struggles. These experiences can leave you questioning your self-worth and identity.
I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. My undergraduate B.A and graduate M.A. training took place at Wheaton College. Following graduate school in the midwest, I moved to the west coast, where I attended the California School of Professional Psychology. Here, I earned a M.A in applied psychology and Psy. D. in clinical psychology with a dual emphasis in forensics and family therapy. My research consisted of working with high risk sexual offenders. Following my time on the west coast, I worked as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at a local university. In my free time, I train in combat arts and play guitar (try at least ;-).
Hi there, I'm Chelsy, a Licensed Therapist. I love providing support during life transitions and helping my clients to be the best possible versions of themselves. Working with me, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space for honest, transparent conversations, processing experiences, and practicing coping tools.
