If you feel trapped in the relentless cycles of OCD, profound anxiety, or trauma, I help you understand these patterns with compassion and curiosity. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which views the human personality as a dynamic system of parts shaped by both life experience and temperament. From this perspective, anxiety, OCD, and other problematic emotions and behaviors are often seen as protective mechanisms working diligently to keep you safe from perceived danger. Obsessions, compulsions, reassurance-seeking, hypervigilance, and mental checking are all understood as attempts to remove and prevent harm.
Hello, I am glad you are here! Since 2003 I have been treating both adults and children in a wide variety of therapeutic settings in both CA and Vermont. I have an MS in Counseling from CSUH, and I am currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Vermont. I also practiced as an LMFT in the State of CA for more than 15 years, before moving with my family to New England in 2016. I am so glad to be here and love what I do!
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of post-graduate clinical experience. I graduated from Rhode Island College School of Social Work in 2016 with my Master of Social Work and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Child and Adolescent Trauma. I am the owner of, and sole therapist at Tabula Rasa Therapy, LLC. I provide gender-affirming care and have expertise in LGBTQ+ issues, adult and childhood trauma including working with survivors of conversion therapy, anxiety, depression, identity formation, and life changes.
Maybe it showed up when you became a parent, started a new relationship, went no-contact, searched for (or decided not to search for) biological family, changed careers, or hit a milestone age that cracked things open. Whatever triggered it, you’re probably asking questions like: Who am I really? Why does this hit differently for me? Why does everyone else seem fine when I’m not?
I work with adoptees who are navigating identity, belonging, and the emotional fallout that often comes with major life transitions. A lot of my clients are high-functioning, thoughtful, and exhausted from trying to hold it all together while pretending this stuff doesn’t matter.
My style is warm, direct, and very real—I swear sometimes and I don’t shy away from the hard stuff. I help you understand your nervous system and relationships so you’re not just surviving, but actually getting yourself. If you’re an adoptee in a life shift thinking “something’s off,” you’re not broken—and you don’t have to do this alone.
If you’ve been carrying anxiety, relationship struggles, family conflict, or simply feeling like life has become harder to navigate, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of counseling experience and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I work with adults facing anxiety, relationship and family challenges, self-esteem concerns, grief, women’s issues, and the unique challenges that can come with aging and geriatric care. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want their faith to be part of their therapeutic experience. Whatever brings you to counseling, my goal is to understand what you need and help you move toward meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, chronic health concerns using a lifestyle medicine–informed approach. Many clients feel overwhelmed managing both mental health symptoms and physical conditions, while balancing work, relationships, and caregiving demands.
