You've spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you may have forgotten what it feels like to be supported yourself. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, trauma, or a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I'm Dr. Ej Sit, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, older adults, and families create meaningful, lasting change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns, women's issues, self esteem, family challenges, and life transitions.
My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe every person has strengths, even during life's most difficult seasons. Together, we'll build on those strengths, increase your confidence, and develop practical tools that help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.
If you've spent your life providing, surviving, and holding things together for everyone else, therapy can feel like one more thing to manage. I work with men and working people who are tired of feeling anxious, isolated, or stuck, and who want to feel like themselves again. As a bilingual therapist raised in San Antonio, I understand the pressures of low wages, generational trauma, and the expectation to keep pushing no matter what. Whether you're navigating relationships, identity, or stress that never fully turns off, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I work with adults who are used to being the dependable one and have quietly run out of room. Most of my clients aren't in crisis — they're tired, stretched thin, and a little uncomfortable admitting it. I'm a Texas-licensed clinical social worker, I see everyone online, and I'm
straightforward. If something isn't working in our sessions, say so and we'll change it. I'd rather be useful than polite.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges in a supportive and collaborative environment. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace.
I completed my graduate training in clinical mental health counseling and hold licensure as an LPC. I continue to pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
I primarily work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting clients working through trauma, grief and loss, burnout, and difficulties with emotional regulation.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I also incorporate trauma-informed care to ensure sessions are paced and structured in a way that feels safe and supportive.
I aim to offer a warm, practical, and collaborative style of counseling, focusing on helping clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence in managing life’s challenges.
What I would want clients to know about me is that I understand how heavy life can feel when you are carrying too much for too long. I often work with moms, caregivers, children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, and the pressure to keep showing up even when they feel emotionally exhausted. If you are a mom who feels like you are always running, always thinking about what someone else needs, and slowly losing touch with yourself, this can be a space to pause, breathe, and begin finding your way back to you.
I also bring many years of experience in education and school counseling, which helps me support children, teens, and families with a practical understanding of how home, school, relationships, and daily responsibilities can impact emotional well-being. My goal is not to help you chase perfection, but to help you build more balance, clarity, confidence, and peace in your everyday life. Whether you are trying to feel like yourself again or trying to support a child who is struggling, you do not have to figure it all out alone.
Double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in depression, ADHD, women’s mental health concerns, and the unique pressures faced by high-functioning professionals and students. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and nonjudgmental.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Army veteran, I specialize in working with young African American veterans who are navigating depression, anxiety, military transition, identity shifts, and the challenges of civilian life. I understand that life after service is not always straightforward. Many people, including veterans, find themselves struggling with purpose, relationships, career decisions, and mental health concerns while trying to adjust to a new chapter.
As a female veteran, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. Those experiences help me create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.
