If you've spent your life providing, surviving, and holding things together for everyone else, therapy can feel like one more thing to manage. I work with men and working people who are tired of feeling anxious, isolated, or stuck, and who want to feel like themselves again. As a bilingual therapist raised in San Antonio, I understand the pressures of low wages, generational trauma, and the expectation to keep pushing no matter what. Whether you're navigating relationships, identity, or stress that never fully turns off, you don't have to figure it out alone. Sessions can be held in Spanish or English. I have a depth of experience as a clinical school social worker for over 18 years. Prior to school social work and private practice, I worked in residential treatment, inpatient treatment and juvenile probation. The majority of my 20+ year career has been working with pre-teens, adolescents and their families. I love working with parents as they navigate raising kids!
Most recently, I have been working more with college aged busy moms and professionals. I also love working with high performing athelets.
For the past 16 years I have also supervised Masters level, clinical social work students. I also provide supervision for those working towards their LCSW.
My husband and I are busy raising our three young children. Being a parent is the greatest joy and there is no other role I rather be in.
I know that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming — especially if you’re carrying a lot on your own. I believe deeply in the strength, warmth, and resilience that come from our cultura, and I bring that understanding into every session.
I work with clients who want support navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions, particularly when cultural identity and family dynamics play an important role. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood, while also using research-backed tools that truly help you move forward.
What truly sets me apart is my calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach. I believe in meeting every individual exactly where they are, creating a safe and affirming space for open, honest communication. Together, we’ll build a collaborative relationship where goals, preferences, and values guide every step of your care. I am committed to providing stigma-free care; including those navigating challenges related to neurodivergence, substance use, trauma, identity or difficult past experiences. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and respected without fear of shame or judgment.
My name is Vivian Osemene, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma related disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.
I completed my psychiatric mental health training at Walden University and have experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan, including individuals with complex psychiatric and developmental needs. My clinical approach focuses on thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning.
I earned my bachelor's in Psychology at Smith College and my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rowan University. I believe in tailoring my clients' experience to their likes and needs. I enjoy creative therapy, ACT, manifestations, physical activity, CBT, and strength-based approaches to help individuals reach their full potential.
I am a wife and mother and have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy using creative outlets to help make therapy a fully integrated experience.
