My name is Tom Kauffmann and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was awarded a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah in 2015, where I attended classes on their campus in Salt Lake City. I also graduated from a one year licensed alcohol and drug counseling program (LADC) in 2013 at the same university prior to getting my Master's degree. I specialize in using cognitive behavioral techniques and strategies to help folks investigate how they think about things.

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bi-cultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Virginia. I have 19 years of therapy experience working in community based nonprofits, private practice and in the Federal Civil Service. I am dedicated to helping clients find effective ways to deal with stress, trauma, or difficult emotions. I am committed to helping my clients on their journey to becoming happier and healthier, as well as improving their interpersonal relationships and behavioral patterns.

I have 30 years of experience of helping those with those who have mental health, addictions and relationship problems. I am honored to help all who seek help with any of these issues. I help clients find solutions in a safe and non-judgmental place.

Hi, I’m Gisselle. I work with women and adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions — especially during seasons that feel overwhelming or uncertain. Many of my clients are trying to hold everything together on the outside, while internally feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward.

With a background in public service and years of experience supporting people from all walks of life, I bring a deep sense of compassion and understanding to the work we do together. Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and easy to open up to.

I approach work with my patients with genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and empathy. I work with my patients according to their goals in a collaborative manner. I also meet my patients where they are, with challenges that are digestible.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a unique educational background in Pre-Pharmacy and Bachelors of Science in Biology. This diverse educational background plays a role in my ability to encompass the mind, body, soul approach during therapy. I have a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, biopsychosocial assessments, and culturally competency care. I specialize in working with a wide range of populations, but particularly youth and families impacted by trauma. I have experience helping clients navigate complex medical needs, coping with negative emotional stressors, accessing resources, and overcoming the unexpected.
