I became a mental health provider because I believe everyone deserves to be heard.
My practice is built on a level of clinical depth that sets my care apart: my background includes extensive hands-on experience in high-acuity inpatient psychiatric units, comprehensive outpatient clinics, and active service as a Mental Health Nurse in the U.S. Air Force.
At Mental Clarity Psychiatry, I take an integrative, unhurried approach to whole-person care, focusing on how your physical health, lifestyle, and unique life story impact your mind. My goal is to build a partnership based on true trust rather than just managing symptoms, combining clinical expertise with personalized guidance to help you find a sustainable path back to yourself. Please call 689-349-8700 for more information.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 26 years of nursing experience in various capacities, including psychiatric mental health and addiction medicine for the last 8 years. My passion is to walk alongside my patients on their mental health journey, helping them navigate challenges, cultivate lasting wellness, and restore balance for a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Life can be full of different stressors, which is where I can help. I will provide a warm, non-judgmental, safe, and interactive environment where we take on complex subjects, deep-seated traumas, or for you to say the things you've never told anyone before. I understand these are difficult subjects to speak about, and I will build a therapeutic relationship with you so that you feel strong enough to share. By doing this, we can form realistic and attainable goals to establish growth and promote healing. Remember that healing is not linear. The best gift you can give yourself is to master the chaos & find a way around it.
A Florida and Polk County native, Mirtha is a graduate of Frostproof High School. She is board certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Autonomous Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor's of Nursing from Polk State and a Master's of Nursing from USF. In 2023 Mirtha earned a Post Master's Certification in Psychiatry from Florida Atlantic University. However, her journey as a mental health provider began in 2020 when she became certified through the Academy of Christian Counseling, as a mental health coach. Then in January of 2025 she became an active member of the Order of Saint Luke (OSL) a healing ministry.
Mirtha has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare. Her passion is caring for individuals struggling with mental health issues. She has been volunteering with the youth in her community for over 7 years and also has experience working in a domestic violence shelter with victims of trauma.
Struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or mood changes that make everyday life feel heavy? You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm Dr. Denise Williams, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and over 14 years of experience in psychiatry. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for teens (12+) and adults through convenient, 100% virtual telehealth visits.
I help clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, grief, and stress. I have a special interest in women's mental health, and I'm deeply honored to work with veterans and their unique experiences.
My background in psychiatric crisis stabilization and correctional mental health taught me to meet every person where they are, with no judgment. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, races, and cultures, because culturally humble, affirming care is essential, not optional.
