I earned my degree in psychology, and a gap year with Jesuit Volunteer Corps in a social justice setting led me to social work. I use a systems approach, meaning I look at the personal, family, and life factors affecting your well-being. My background in foster care, crisis work, community-based care, and therapy gives me a collaborative, well-rounded perspective.

I believe therapy works best when you feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have it all together, or carry everything on your own.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve spent my career supporting children, parents, and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. My background includes working in the NICU, early childhood mental health, and supporting families navigating trauma, medical complexity, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

I am especially passionate about working with women during pregnancy and postpartum, parents, caregivers, and individuals who have spent so much time caring for others that they’ve forgotten how to care for themselves.

I bring warmth, authenticity, and a little humor into sessions when appropriate. Therapy with me is a judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.

I know that sometimes asking for help can be difficult. Rest assured, we all need help at one time or another in our lives. I am dedicated to helping children, teens and adults discover their unique voice and express themselves in a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental space. I'm a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in the mental health psychiatric field ranging from child and adult outpatient care to substance abuse treatment. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ohio University and Master of Science in Psychiatry from St, Thomas University in Miami, FL.

Tara Payne is the owner and founder of Payne Influential Mental Health. She is a board-certified

Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP). She obtained her Master of Science in

Nursing from the University of South Alabama. Tara has been a Registered Nurse for almost 20

years in which she has been devoted to helping and treating patients with a variety of conditions.

She has specialized in critical care, mental health, and several other acute care specialties. Tara is a Perinatal Mental Health provider through PSI (Postpartum Support International) as well as a Trauma Certified provider. Tara has learned how vital mental health is when it comes to treating a patient as a “whole” person. This has driven her passion to help serve the mental health community and those in need of mental health management.

Hello! My name is Cameron Boles and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I received my Bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and my Master's degree from Northwestern State University. I started working as a therapist in January 2023 at a university counseling center where I assisted in crises and provided regular follow-up appointments to established clients. After graduating from school in May 2023, I moved on to work with a wider variety of populations, including kids, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have extensive experience in working with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. I also have more limited experience working with obsessive compulsive disorders and eating disorders. Apart from specific mental health disorders, I have worked extensively with clients on improving communication, being more assertive, and exploring purpose.

My calling to this work comes from my own experience of holding everything in, carrying the weight of caring for others, and hiding my own exhaustion. For a long time, I understood what it meant to keep going even when I needed a break, to put others' needs before my own, and to believe I had to handle everything on my own.

Through my own growth and continued practice, I have learned the importance of self-care, self-compassion, and giving myself permission to slow down. I've learned that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, and that taking a break does not mean I'm falling behind.

These experiences have deepened my passion for helping other women who find themselves caught in the same cycle of giving, doing, and carrying-while quietly putting their own needs last. I believe you can care deeply for the people you love without losing yourself in the process.
