Hi! My name is Deetza (Franklin) Rosen, LMHC. I work with children (age 7-14), teenage girls, their parents, and women of all ages. I have a Masters in School Counseling from Seton Hall University as well as a license in Mental Health counseling. I specialize in helping children of all ages and stages to develop emotion regulation skills. I specialize in treating anxiety.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Master Certified Addiction Professional with a deep passion for motivating and advocating for my clients. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a second master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University.

As a therapist, wife, mother of two, bonus mom to two stepchildren, and owner of an animal rescue, I bring not only 14+ years of clinical experience but also the wisdom gained from my full and colorful life. These experiences allow me to connect with clients through both professional insight and lived empathy. My goal is to help others find balance, healing, and fulfillment in every season of life.

I have more than 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field and have been in private practice since 2003. I work with adults, older adults, adolescents, individuals, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief, stress, relationship challenges, ADHD, anger, impulse control, substance use concerns, cultural or ethnic issues, and major life transitions. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology in Cuba in 1982 and later completed my Master’s degree at Florida International University in 1998. My background has shaped a warm, culturally sensitive, and practical approach to therapy.
