Hi, I’m Dr. Dani...and I’ll be honest with you from the start: I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a space where they can finally exhale. With over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, my background spans crisis intervention, family systems, and culturally responsive care.
I have a particular heart for women and couples who are carrying a lot... navigating stress, relationships, and life transitions...and doing it often without anyone really seeing them.
That changes here.
I want to help you help yourself. I believe everyone is capable of change and I will teach you skills to use everyday.
I have over 16 years experience in providing therapy services, working with individuals and couples from all walks of life. I offer a safe environment without judgement and encompass compassion where you can talk openly about your concerns and work towards your goals. I strive to empower my clients to be the best version of themselves.
As a clinician, I enjoy working with everyone in all phases of life helping in building self-esteem, managing addiction, trauma, self-discovery, medication management, anger management, re-establishing one's dreams/purpose, building/strengthening relationships one has with self, partners or family systems.
I have worked with foster children, young adults, primary care staff and patients, those who struggled with substance abuse in a methadone clinic, provided supervision to non-licensed social workers in the hospital.
I welcome the opportunity to meet with you for a consultation to see if working together would be a great match like a grilled cheese or peanut butter sandwich.
Best of luck on your journey to health and wellness.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe taking care of your mental health is one of the most important investments you can make in your life. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, so if you’re here, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over a decade and specialize in supporting adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
Life can be a lot. Between juggling work, friends and family life, anxiety and sadness can sneak up on you. Therapy isn’t about lying on a couch while someone silently nods, it’s about having a real convo with someone who gets it. Together, we’ll work together out how to quiet the noise, boost your mental health, and build habits that make life feel less like survival mode and more like you actually living it. Life throws curveballs — and when we don’t fully process them, they can sneakily pile up as stress, anxiety, or that heavy feeling you just can’t shake. That’s where therapy comes in.
My mission is simple: create a space where you can express yourself, shake off the weight you’ve been carrying, and explore who you’ve been, who you are, and who you want to become. A safe zone for real talk and growth. EMDR (a way of helping your brain re-file old memories so they don’t keep hitting the panic button), systems theory, person centered theory.
Therapy with me isn’t about lying on a couch in awkward silence. It’s modern, collaborative, sometimes even a little fun — because growth doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I’m open-minded yet structured and here to make the process feel less like a chore and more like a genuine reset.
For insurances I do not accept: Out of network provider: 4 questions to ask insurance representative: Does your plan include "out-of-network" coverage for mental health? What is your annual deductible for mental health benefits? What is your co-insurance? (What percentage does the plan cover?) Is there a limit on sessions?
I work with adults navigating anxiety, career and life transitions, grief, and questions of identity and purpose — whether that's a 20-something rethinking their path, someone reassessing a career after years in it, or an older adult navigating retirement, caregiving, or the shifts that come with later life. My approach is collaborative and grounded: you'll leave sessions with more clarity than you came in with, not just more to think about.
I came to this work after a first career in banking. I understand the pressure, identity, and burnout that come with corporate life firsthand — and what it takes to actually rebuild around what matters to you, whatever stage of life or career you're in. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University.
I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the process. I work with adults who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, changes in their physical health, or challenges that can affect how they see themselves and their relationships. I also have a particular interest in working with men's mental health and creating a space where clients can talk openly without feeling judged. My style is warm, open-minded, and participatory, and I want therapy to feel like something we are working through together—not something being done to you. You can expect me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you identify practical steps that fit your goals and your life.
