Life can pull us in a hundred different directions, and sometimes it takes slowing down, getting real, and having honest conversations to find our way forward. My approach is straightforward and commpassionate - no judgment, no fluff. I meet you where you are, walk beside you through the challenges, and help you rediscover your strength, clarity, and purpose.
I am a certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C). I completed my Bachelor of Nursing degree at Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. Further, I pursued a Master of Science in psychiatry at Walden University, which allowed me to obtain certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. With extensive clinical experience in psychiatry, I specialize in treating individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges such as depression, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders. My background allows me to care for the whole person, addressing the complex connections between physical health, emotional well-being, and life balance.
Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship difficulties begin affecting how you feel about yourself and connect with others. You may find yourself overthinking, shutting down, feeling emotionally exhausted, struggling to communicate, or repeating patterns you wish you could change. You may also be worried about your child or teenager and unsure how best to help.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist with more than 14 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I received my MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, relationship and family conflict, self-esteem concerns, everyday stress, and life transitions.
I also have a particular interest in helping women who struggle with people-pleasing, codependency, boundaries, or consistently putting others’ needs before their own. I provide therapy in English and Spanish.
It takes incredible courage to pause and ask for support, and I am so glad you are here.
Hi, I'm Brooke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that works with multiple areas of treatment including anxiety, cultural norms, PTSD, and maternal issues with a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I view therapy as a sacred, gentle space where you can step out of the daily noise, set down the burdens that are draining your emotional energy, and reconnect with your true self.
I believe that therapy can have a great impact on one's life. If one is motivated, one can resolve problems, feel better, and address past hardships. I have over thirty years of experience helping clients achieve their goals in a supportive and safe environment. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I received my undergraduate degree from Stanford University and my Masters of Social Work from Columbia University. I have resided in both the United States and Latin America. I look forward to working with each and every client, in order that they may reach their happiest self possible.
I’m Ine Saka, PMHNP-BC, FNP, and founder of Empathy Wellness Center, currently serving Maryland and Virginia. As a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, I provide compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma, integrating traditional psychiatry with wellness-focused approaches to support mind, body, and spirit.
