As your therapist, I create a space where you can slow down and reconnect with yourself. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in belief that meaningful change begins within. Whether you’re managing anxiety, relationship challenges, identity shifts, or past experiences that still affect you, we move at your pace with practical tools and honest conversation.
Hello, I’m Katlyn Hash, but you can call me Katie. Before diving into my professional background, I’d like to share a little about myself. I’m a proud pet owner, with a 27-year-old turtle named Speedy, along with my three cats—Stella, Mufasa, and Toothless—and my energetic puppy, Piper.
One of my greatest joys is writing this bio to connect with you and support your journey toward reaching your full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling in 2020 and later earned my Master of Education in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in May 2023. Having personally experienced the complexities of childhood trauma, I am deeply passionate about helping others overcome similar challenges with compassion and understanding
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. Reaching out for therapy can be difficult, whether you are struggling with a specific concern, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling like things have become harder to manage. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and feel comfortable exploring what brings you to therapy.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults. I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. I have specialized expertise in trauma across the lifespan, reproductive and perinatal mental health, neurodiversity, ADHD, and autism-related concerns. I also provide play therapy for children, using developmentally appropriate approaches to help children express themselves, build coping skills, and work through difficult experiences.
I particularly enjoy working with college students and professionals who are balancing demanding careers, relationships, family responsibilities, and the many expectations of adult life. I have worked with educators, college professors, healthcare providers, attorneys, government employees, and other professionals who may be accustomed to caring for others while finding it difficult to make space for themselves.
I'm Aregnaz, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and judgement-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Therapy is, at its heart, a place to slow down, make sense of what you have been carrying, and begin to see yourself and your experiences from a different perspective.
I am a therapist who helps individuals better understand the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may leave them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely understood. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that is warm, collaborative, honest, and grounded in respect—one where you can be yourself, explore what is difficult, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
I have always been interested in perspective—the way the same moment can look completely different depending on where you stand, what you notice, and what you allow yourself to see. Photography has reinforced that perspective for me. A photograph can capture something obvious at first glance, but looking more closely often reveals depth, context, details, and a story that was not immediately visible.
I believe people are much the same. There is often more beneath the surface of what we see or experience. Anxiety, anger, sadness, avoidance, or feeling stuck may be connected to experiences, beliefs, relationships, or patterns that deserve a closer look. Therapy provides an opportunity to step back, explore those different perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
My role is not to tell you what you should see. Rather, I want to help you explore the picture from different angles, understand what has shaped it, and decide what you would like to change moving forward.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bi-cultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Virginia. I have 19 years of therapy experience working in community based nonprofits, private practice and in the Federal Civil Service. I am dedicated to helping clients find effective ways to deal with stress, trauma, or difficult emotions. I am committed to helping my clients on their journey to becoming happier and healthier, as well as improving their interpersonal relationships and behavioral patterns.
Welcome! I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can work together to understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical skills for navigating life's challenges.
