Amanda Thome is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who obtained her Masters of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 2015.

I have been practicing as a therapist for 13 years, and have had a wide range of experience within that time. I have worked with at-risk youth in shelters, supported young adults and teens with mental health treatment after hospitalization, to now providing individual therapy in an outpatient setting. I earned my Master's in Social Work in 2014, and have been practicing with my LISW. I have mostly worked with mood disorders, like anxiety and depression, or with trauma (PTSD). As a lesbian with ADHD myself, I also specialize in neurodivergency and LGBT+ issues.

Hello, I'm Aimée! I have over 30 years of experience as a licensed professional clinical counselor & supervisor in numerous settings throughout Ohio. I enjoy helping those in middle school through adulthood to navigate the challenges life brings. I have experience working with those who are struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or are going through life transitions (school, college, divorce, death and more).

I earned a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati after working in Children's Protective Services and Juvenile Court facilities. I have years of experience helping children, youth and families connect and function in more healthy ways. I see adults and couples as well, and strive to facilitate healing of hearts and marriages.

I have personal and professional experience in foster parenting and adoption. One of my special areas of interest is the effects of nutrition and exercise on mental health. I have utilized Equine-assisted Psychotherapy for twenty years as a specialty.
