She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Andrews University and completed her master's degree in mental health counseling from Walsh University. Taylor has been working in various settings in Stark County since 2015. Taylor has experience within hospital emergency rooms, school-based, community crisis, outpatient, and telehealth. Taylor has worked with a wide range of clients ages 5-75. Taylor’s early years in the field were focused on child and adolescents, primarily those in foster care. Hello, I'm Stefanie Young, an Army brat, born in Germany and a Gulf War Veteran. I've spent my entire career in and around first response: military, military police, and civilian law enforcement which has truly shaped my approach to therapy by understanding the culture, the pressures that come with it, and what it takes to finally talk to someone.

My practice is a confidential, open space for adults working through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, anger, and depression. If you're a first responder or veteran, you won't need to explain your world to me, I've lived it. And if you're not, you're equally welcome as well.
