Clients often describe me as compassionate, validating, and down-to-earth. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, trauma, and mood disorders. I create a therapeutic space where clients can show up as their full selves—without judgment.
With my education and experience; both personal and professionally, I am able to connect and provide care to a diverse group of people of all ages. I am a mother of four grown children and have ten grandchildren. I've experienced loss, hardship, as well as healing. I enjoy helping others reach their full potential and live his or her best life.
I bring over 20 years of experience supporting adults through addiction, mood, and thought‐related challenges, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I work to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe to explore your story. Together, we move at a steady, compassionate pace toward clarity, emotional grounding, and meaningful change.
You've Been Strong for Everyone Else-Now It's Your Turn
For the past 18 years, I've worked with adults who are carrying more than most people around them know. If you're the one everyone leans on, the high-achiever who looks put-together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside, or someone who has been strong for so long you've forgotten what it feels like to just exhale, you're in the right place.
As a Black therapist, I bring both clinical training and lived understanding to this work. Whether you're navigating anxiety that won't quiet, grief that hasn't had space, a relationship that's draining you, or a life transition that has left you feeling stuck, you don't have to have it figured out before you begin.
Wherever you're starting from, meaningful support is available, and you deserve to be the one receiving it for a change.

I am open minded with a focus on empowerment and establishing self-awareness for each client to identify their ability to fix and solve their own problems with motivation, guidance, and hard work.
I help adults in Mississippi who are feeling overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, or major life changes. If you’re used to taking care of everyone else and are finally wondering, “What about me?”, you’re in the right place. Therapy with me is a nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and start making sense of what you’re going through so life doesn’t feel so heavy.
Hi, I'm India. For the past 3 years, I've been supporting adults and teenagers who have been holding it together a while. I got into it because the quiet kind of struggling often gets overlooked. Maybe you're here because you woke at 3 a.m. with your chest tight and a list running. Maybe the group chat has sat there for days and you can't quite say why. Perhaps you're looking for counseling because getting up takes everything, or because you're good at your job and still hear a voice calling you a fraud. You don't have to have it named yet.
I'm not the therapist who just nods at you. I'll laugh with you. I'll get quiet when it's heavy. You set the pace and I follow it. Some weeks we walk it through step by step. Some weeks we write your story down until it reads differently on the page. I'll tell you the truth as I see it.
First session is mostly me asking and you answering, as deep as you want to go that day. Nothing assigned, nothing to prepare. Pick a time on my calendar here and we'll see if I'm the right fit for you.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of experience supporting mental health and wellness across the lifespan. My professional journey has been rooted in behavioral health settings, where I’ve had the privilege of working closely with both children and adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, sleep-related concerns, and substance-use disorders.
I earned my Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and also hold a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from William Carey University. My background allows me to combine clinical expertise with education and advocacy, ensuring that clients feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their care.
When a child has been through more than they should, or when a family is navigating trauma, foster care, or adoption, the right support changes everything. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the weight of whatever life has handed them, including the complex emotions that come with foster care and adoption experiences.
With more than a 10 years in mental health, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and support as you build on your strengths and work toward the future you envision.
If anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship stress, or the challenges of living with a health disability have been weighing on you, you do not have to sort through it alone. Therapy can be a space to feel understood, gain clarity, and move forward with more confidence. I work to create a warm, respectful environment where you can be yourself, feel heard, and build on your strengths. Together, we can work toward meaningful change in a way that feels supportive, personalized, and realistic for your life.
I focus on helping individuals through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger, and physical stress. My passion is helping patients move from a place of despair to optimism. My ability to help others comes from personal life experience, formal and informal education and the desire to help. I use researched based therapeutic methods to strengthen and empower you to be able to problem solve and face challenges independently. I will not promise you a cure. I will promise to work with you until you reach a place of peace and calm. If that is what you are looking for, I would love to meet you.
