Mental healthcare has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I am committed to helping others. My therapeutic style builds on my compassionate, empathetic, and attentive nature. I have worked in community-based clinics in both Rochester, NY and New York City. I have years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I’ve supported individuals through a wide range of issues, including, trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, cultural identity, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work at Fordham University and have since gained valuable experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings.

I have training in CBT, DBT, EFIT, psychodynamics, and am certified in trauma-focused CBT. I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami, completed my internship at Yale School of Medicine and my fellowship at CHA/Harvard Medical School. I have worked as faculty at UMASS and Northwestern Schools of Medicine. I have specialized training in health psychology including cancer, autoimmune disease, GI disease, infertility, third party reproduction, pregnancy loss, peripartum mental health, adjustment to parenting. I help with anxiety, depression, ADHD and burnout.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families in New York State. I have a unique background in the medical field, home education, nutrition, and addictions through my work in hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, home-based care, education, addiction treatment programs, medical offices, and private practice. I am a dedicated professional and proud alumna of the University at Albany.
