Ashley Bedeau, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Counselor. As an African American-Trinidadian, I offer a unique perspective in my practice. With a background in trauma care, dual-diagnosis treatment, and first responder wellness, I employ a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to promote resilience and healing. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges with empathy and confidence.

As a Doctor in Nursing Practice, I have been in healthcare for over ten years, which has prepared me to manage my patients with evidence-based treatment modalities. I bring compassion and commitment to my practice of caring for the holistic needs of my patients, which entails a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of the patient’s psychological, emotional, and physical well-being, also creating a plan of care that will optimize a favorable outcome in a realistic, goal-oriented length of time, with the patient’s buy-in.

I am a doctoral preparing psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My goal is to provide individualized and family mental health treatment plans . I strive to provide quality care in a collaborative, supportive, and non-judgment manner. I have thirteen years of experience as a mental health therapist and seven in private practice. What I love most about my work is the privilege of being invited into someone else’s journey of healing. I know it takes courage to share your experiences with someone you’ve just met, and I don’t take that lightly. My hope is to create a safe space where we can build trust, get to know each other, and find encouragement as you explore your story and consider where change may be needed.

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a primary care background. I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. My focus areas are adults and geriatric patients.
