Feeling like you always have to be the one who figures things out, keeps everything together, and carries it all so everyone around you can be okay is exhausting. And if it's gotten you to the point where finding balance and feeling like yourself is challenging, I may be a great fit for you. My work as a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience has centered on helping young adults and adults navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship and family stress, and major life transitions. I offer therapy in English y en Español and warmly welcome clients who want culture, family, and identity to have a place in the therapy room.
I’m a licensed social worker who believes healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. I work with children, adolescents, and families navigating stress, trauma, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood.
For clients who request it, I am comfortable integrating faith-informed perspectives into our work while always respecting diverse beliefs and backgrounds. I honor that healing can look different for everyone, and I meet clients where they are.
I see therapy as a partnership; one rooted in trust, growth, and real-life change.
Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I bring tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life.
My journey started with volunteering in the Guidance Counselor's office at my high school. In this setting, my emotional intelligence and level of empathy began to grow. I decided to study Psychology to understand how the mind works, then studied Social Work to understand how that mind works when affected by events in the environment. I have worked extensively with children/ students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/ AIDS, the elderly, Veterans, Immigrants, couples and families. I accept clients no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background. I utilize a strength- based approach for my clients as I believe we all have the ability to take control of our own lives.
