A little but about myself besides my profession. I am an African American woman from Detroit, MI. I am a wife and a mother. As a wife and mother, there are many challenges...multitasking, running a home, working, raising a family and many more. I know full well how challenging this can be. All this being said, I understand “Life” quite a bit. I am a clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience in private practice. I specialize in treating adults going through major life events, including trauma, chronic illness, new parenthood, and divorce. I am trained in EMDR treatment for trauma and I am certified in perinatal mental health.

As a psychotherapist, I use a range of modalities that can assist with managing mental health and wellness in a healthy way. Therapy is a "later in life" career for me. I have worked in multiple fields and with people from many backgrounds.
