Back-to-school ADHD & adolescent anxiety visits — evening appointments available! If you've cycled through medications that didn't work, been put on prescriptions that never quite fit, or felt handed a pill for every symptom without anyone explaining why — you're not a difficult case. You're a patient who hasn't been fully heard yet.
I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with additional certification in telebehavioral health, and I do things differently: I take the time to get the complete picture before making any decision. My career — from flight nursing to inpatient behavioral health — taught me to stay calm and thorough with the most complex cases. I treat mental and physical health together,
grounded in evidence-based care, and I make sure you understand your options — medications, nutrition, sleep, movement — so you can make real choices about your own care.
Hi, I’m Jennifer Brown, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for teens and adults, helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and life stressors.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), LICSW who mainly specializes in adult individual, couples, and family counseling. I am currently licensed in MD, DC, DE, and FL, and PA.
Here is my website loriceparker.com.
I have 20 years of experience providing therapy for individuals, families, and couples. I also have over 28 years of experience working in various social work settings. I am a certified life coach, a licensed minister as well as an author. I believe that every person has the right and ability to live a purposeful and fulfilled life. My goal is to empower, affirm, and build individuals to reach their maximum potential. I will never impose religious beliefs on my clients and will always value and support their individual perspectives. I enjoy facilitating workshops on various life issues, divorce, grief and loss and empowerment. I have facilitated several trainings for other professionals, and I have conducted training around Grief and Loss, Trauma Informed Care, and Understanding Child Development.
I am a board-certified, bilingual (English/Spanish) psychiatrist who is passionate about understanding my clients at a deeper level and helping them find the emotional wellbeing they seek. After finishing my residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, where I served as a Chief Resident, I completed a two-year interpersonal psychoanalysis course at the William Alanson White Institute in New York City.
Life has taught me so much. After the school of hard knocks I decided to go to a real college and found that I was not only bright but I had a real talent for helping people. I completed my Ph.D. in clinical psychology specializing in neuropsychological assessments. I was lucky enough to complete a residency at the A. I Dupont Children's hospital. I have also worked with crises units, residential teen facilities, developmental clinics and the division of prevention and behavioral health through the state. I opened my own private practice in January 1999 where i specialized in therapy for children, teens and adults. Now after retiring with 20 years from the state, I am more relaxed and less pressured. I take my time with people, listen to their needs and work with them to help find solutions.
