I’m Kaylee Torno, MA, LPC, NCC, and the founder of WayForward Counseling & Consulting. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families as a licensed therapist and professional school counselor.
I specialize in working with teens (ages 16+), young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of their next steps. My goal is to offer a compassionate, down-to-earth space where you can feel supported as you better understand yourself, build coping tools, and begin finding your way forward.
I work from a client centered and trauma informed approach addressing all aspects of a client's whole self, to help the client find healing, hope and freedom to navigate life's challenges and learn to thrive. Although I work with clients of all ages, I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I am committed to instilling hope in the lives of clients and their families. I love what I do and feel honored to have the opportunity to walk along side of you during this season of life.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I also bring a creative and structured lens to therapy. I approach each session with empathy, curiosity, and respect. My goal is to walk alongside you, honoring your story and helping you build a more grounded, connected life.
Emily Biggs-Heisler, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Clinical Director and Co-Owner of Mountainside Behavioral Health.

Dr. Biggs-Heisler provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She teaches DBT skills groups, provides supervision to staff and trainees, and works with clients who are twelve years old and above.
Hello! I’m Amy Monreal, a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples find healing and connection. Maybe you are in a relationship where conflict is difficult to navigate, and you feel stuck in patterns that leave you feeling frustrated and alone. It can be hard to navigate these patterns on our own. I believe every person deserves healing and relationships that are safe, supportive, and loving.
Hello, I'm Miranda. I have been a therapist for over 10 years and have spent nearly four of those years in private practice. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from CU Boulder and a Master's in Counseling from UCCS. Throughout my career, I have addressed a wide range of concerns and issues, from working with severely mentally ill individuals in a prison setting to engaging with a diverse clientele in community mental health. My specialties include trauma, adolescents, life transitions, and relationship issues.
I specialize in working with women who feel stuck in patterns such as people-pleasing, overthinking, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling disconnected from themselves. These patterns are often rooted in developmental and relational trauma and can continue to impact relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients heal at the root of their struggles.
I can help you to develop a warm, loving relationship with the parts of yourself that may get in the way of the healing and recovery you are interested in. With attention to how pain, loss, and suffering can be held in the body and through cultivating compassion and attention, together we can work to move these experiences through to completion and create space for something new.
I began my professional life as an actress and gather learning from that career to use therapeutically. I am creative, playful and eclectic in my approach. I graduated Naropa University MA in Transpersonal Counseling with a focus on Art Therapy. Colorado Counseling for addictions training.
