I believe clients can reach their highest potential through support and greater self-awareness. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 2015 and my master’s degree in counseling in 2018. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with a variety of clients in multiple levels of care. This has in included outpatient counseling for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders, group treatment for clients transitioning from psychiatric hospitalization, and supporting court-ordered clients with substance use and mental health concerns. Most recently, I worked at a group private practice specializing in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and perfectionism.
I offer virtual or in-person therapy sessions in Castle Rock, Colorado. I know what it's like to struggle with depression, addiction, and narcissistic abuse. Many clients tell me that they relate to me because I have been though similar experiences and know what it's like to push through depression, and overcome addiction and trauma. Most people who finally reach out have been putting it off for a while, waiting to feel ready or wondering whether what they're going through is serious enough to count. I'm Victoria, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and the life transitions that knock you off your footing. I also hold specialized certifications in substance use, so if that's part of what you're carrying, you're in good hands. Clients often describe me as approachable, honest, and steady.

Hi, my name is Tami and I have 18+ years of experience specializing in working with adults around issues of trauma, depression, substance abuse, and anxiety.
I have been working in the field of Social Work since 1998. Over the years, I have lived and worked in many different states from the East Coast to the West Coast. I have worked with people in a variety of settings including college campuses, substance abuse treatment programs, the Special Victims Unit of the District Attorney's office, child welfare, crisis centers, and programs serving folks experiencing psychosis. All of these experiences have enriched my life and provided opportunities to learn and grow as a therapist.
I have also walked my own journey of recovery over the years and have had the pleasure of working with a number of caring and talented therapists and mentors who have helped me with my own healing. I am forever grateful to the role they have played in guiding and supporting me along the way.
We are all on a journey. Sometimes we have the honor of supporting others and sometimes we are honored to receive support. If I can be of support to you at this time, please reach out!
Growing up with 4 brothers and 2 sisters lead me to develop a strong and outgoing personality that carries into sessions; I am gently candid to help push people to their potential. My goal is to explore people’s values and encourage them to develop their strengths. I believe laughter is healing so I implement that frequently into sessions.
