I bring years of experience to my work with individuals and families struggling with mental health challenges. I have worked exclusively in outpatient mental health since completing my studies, and I am deeply committed to empowering my clients to thrive. As a mother of five children - including one who passed at a young age - and a bonus child, I understand firsthand the important role that mental health plays in our overall well-being and happiness. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I specialize in treating children (9+), adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with self- esteem, stress, depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, ADHD, and behavioral- related issues.
I offer in person- therapy, and telehealth with adult clients. I do not provide telehealth to children or adolescents.
Now taking new clients! I am a License Professional Counselor and the owner of Enrichment Counseling. My goal is to help educate clients on mental health, support them in working on improving self and assist with adjusting to life's many changes. I love to work with clients willing to grow and find more understanding in life, by providing a compassionate, non-biases environment to help them grow.
I became a therapist to be safe space for people who didn't feel like they had one. I earned my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy so I could be equipped to help couples navigate their struggles and be that safe space for anyone who needed it. No one should feel like they have to do life alone.
My name is Marcus McCray, I served in the U.S, military for 20 years. I have provided group and trauma counseling for the last two years in the local area. My counseling style centers around motivational interviewing (MI) and finding ways to use an individuals natural abilities to fine solutions/improvements in our every day lives.
Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, addiction, or a major life transition. You may find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, weighed down by self-doubt, shame, guilt, anger, loneliness, or stress that feels difficult to manage on your own.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help clients navigate these challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. Whether you're coping with work stress, family conflict, relationship difficulties, or significant life changes, therapy can provide a space to better understand what you're experiencing and develop practical tools for moving forward or making change.
As your potential therapist, I view my role in your life as a collaborative one. We often hold the answers to our problems; I help you bring them to light. To clients, I refer to it as being your eyes while you struggle to see. Over the years, I’ve discovered a love for working with adolescents, domestic violence victims, and trauma survivors. I believe my empathy and life experiences have morphed me into the therapist I am today. Whatever you may be struggling with today, I congratulate you on the first step: listening to your body and seeking professional help.
Several factors go into finding a right-fit therapist for you. Research suggests that a strong therapeutic alliance results in more positive treatment outcomes. I encourage you to schedule a phone consultation with myself or other potential therapists. Choosing someone you feel comfortable with is your second and most important step.
The reality is, we have ONE life, why not live it fully? I believe challenges help us grow. You and only you are the key holder to your happiness. Whether you lost it or don’t know what to do with it; our work together will help you find it!

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Texas
Searching for therapists in Texas starts with finding someone whose training fits what you want support with. Across a state as large and varied as Texas, therapy needs and available therapists can differ across urban, suburban, and rural areas. You may be looking for help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or major life changes. Review each therapist’s listed specialties, approach, and experience to see whether their background matches your needs. Some therapists may use approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, while others may focus on specific populations or concerns.
Location and format also matter when comparing Texas therapists. In larger areas like Houston, Dallas, and Austin, you may have many choices, while other parts of the state may have fewer local options. Some people prefer meeting in person, while others choose virtual sessions for scheduling flexibility or easier access from home. As you narrow your search, look at appointment availability, whether a therapist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading therapist bios before booking can help you understand how they describe their style, what sessions may feel like, and whether their communication approach fits your preferences.
The cost of therapy in Texas can vary, and using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you search for Texas therapists who match your preferences, accept your insurance, and are ready to take new patients. Nationally, Headway works with over 100 insurance plans, and you can enter your insurance details to see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking. From there, you can compare therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
