I enjoy working with individuals navigating chronic pain or illness, adjustment challenges, and caregiver burnout. I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and respected as we work together toward meaningful and realistic goals.
My primary goal is to provide a helping hand to clients in need. As a school counselor, I have assisted students with disabilities, trauma, mood and personality disorders. Factors to Consider When Choosing an Anxiety Therapist in Houston
Searching for therapists in Houston starts with identifying the kind of support that fits your needs. In a large metro area, you may find therapists who focus on anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, work stress, or life transitions. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties, training, and approach match what you want to address. Provider bios can also show whether a therapist uses approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or acceptance and commitment therapy.
Houston has many therapy options across neighborhoods like Montrose, Midtown, the Heights, and nearby areas such as Pearland and Sugar Land. That volume can make the search feel harder unless you narrow by the factors that matter most. Consider whether you prefer in-person counseling in Houston or virtual sessions from home, and check appointment availability, scheduling flexibility, and whether a therapist is accepting new patients. Reading profiles before booking can help you understand a therapist’s communication style, session structure, and experience with concerns similar to yours.
Therapy in Houston can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before your first appointment. Headway helps you search for a therapist in Houston, TX, enter your insurance details, view estimated out-of-pocket costs, and book directly with therapists who are accepting new patients. You can browse providers, review bios, and choose a covered therapist when you’re ready.
