My name is Angela, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of clinical experience supporting children, teens, and adults.
Drawing on more than ten years of practice across both outpatient and inpatient settings, I partner with clients to weather life's most significant hurdles, whether you are managing anxiety, navigating a major life change, working through family dynamics, or facing an acute crisis.
Therapy isn't about fixing who you are; it’s about discovering who you can become. My approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based care, tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. By blending these strategies with collaborative, supportive guidance, we will work together to help you reshape unhelpful patterns, navigate transitions with confidence, and step fully into your potential.
You don't have to navigate it all alone, so let's take the next step toward living your very best life together.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is let someone walk beside you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become." Welcome, my name is Peju and I a a licensed professional counselor in Texas. With over 10 years of practice, I firmly believe that our past and current situations do not define who we are. Instead, it is our ability to rise and push through our struggles that allows us to grow into the person we are destined to become.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling from the University of Texas–Pan American. I am also Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) through Evergreen Certifications.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, caregiver burnout, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties with boundaries and interpersonal relationships. I also support clients who struggle with rumination, feeling overwhelmed, motivation, self-worth, and adjusting to significant changes in their personal or professional lives.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies to help clients strengthen emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, while also drawing from other evidence-based approaches based on each client’s individual needs. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel heard and understood while developing practical skills, gaining insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and working toward meaningful, lasting change.
I'm Valerie Sewell, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) who works with individuals managing stress, burnout, and the ongoing demands of work, family, caregiving, and everyday life. I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which brings an additional behavioral lens to my work as a counselor. While our work together is focused on counseling, my behavioral background helps me recognize patterns, understand what may be contributing to them, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
I am fairly straightforward in how I work and believe therapy should be useful in your everyday life. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. I will meet you where you are, and we will take things one step at a time.
Hi, I'm Laura! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas with nearly three years of experience working across inpatient psychiatric settings and in-home family therapy. That background has given me a front-row seat to the full spectrum of human struggle, and it's shaped me into a therapist who is warm, grounded, and genuinely unshockable. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, women's issues, trauma, and the everyday weight of just being a person in this world. My sessions are virtual and available most weekday evenings, because healing shouldn't have to wait for a convenient hour. More than anything, I want you to walk into our sessions, even the very first one, feeling like you can exhale. You don't have to perform or polish yourself here. This is a space built for your real, unfiltered self.

I’m passionate about geriatric psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry, and I bring a calm, grounded, and collaborative style to treatment.
I also briefly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that strengthened my commitment to resilience, service, and advocacy. Today, I continue to advocate for women affected by domestic violence, helping them reclaim safety, confidence, and possibility.
On a personal note, I’m a mom of two boys, happily married for 11 years, and the proud owner of four dogs. Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Wichita Falls
Searching for therapists in Wichita Falls starts with understanding what kind of support you want. Therapists and counselors can help with concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life changes. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties and approach match what you want to work on. Their bio may mention styles like cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, family therapy, or marriage counseling, which can help you decide whether their experience fits your needs.
In a smaller city like Wichita Falls, local appointment options may vary by schedule, specialty, and office location. Virtual therapy can expand your search while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Texas. Some people prefer meeting in person, while others choose virtual sessions because they fit more easily into work, school, or caregiving schedules. Before booking, review each therapist’s availability, whether they are accepting new patients, and how they describe their session style.
Therapy in Wichita Falls can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to lower session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you find therapists who match your preferences and offer upfront cost estimates after you enter your insurance details to confirm coverage for your plan and location. You can browse profiles, compare fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
