I stem from a solution based theory base but am also very eclectic in my approach. I offer virtual and in- person sessions where clients are encouraged to express themselves freely without fear of rejection or judgement.
Storms of life come to us in all kinds of ways. Like an unexpected Texas hail storm pounding us with stress and shattering our lives; or a tornado of change uprooting all that was once familiar; or perhaps a seemingly small gust of difficulty which swirls our lives around until we no longer have a sense of direction. We are in uncertain times which often creates waves of doubt and amplifies our fears as we question the future. Yet in the midst of the chaos there can be a sense of calm. I’ve been honored to walk the path of healing with those struggling in addiction, trauma, grief, loss and relationship challenges. With a background in psychology as well as recreation, I use proven methods of Counseling to empower strength in discovering a sense of purpose through clearing of the mind, restoration of the body and joy in the spirit. It takes courage to change and face the storms of life. I look forward to joining you in your journey and helping you turn the tides of your storm into hope and healing.
My practice started out of a deep desire to help heal trauma passed down through generations. As a child of two trauma survivors myself, I know that these wounds can begin in childhood and follow us well into our adult lives. My goal is to work together to notice and intervene in harmful patterns that keep us trapped in cycles of pain and heartbreak.
I'm Brad and I'm a therapist in North Austin who specializes in treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety. My style has been described as compassionate, mindful, and relational. My primary modality is Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a structured intervention which treats PTSD by challenging unproductive beliefs generated by the traumatic event.
Hi! My name is Nicole. I earned my Masters in Counseling from Northwestern University, where I received training in psychodynamic theory. I have been working in the private practice setting for 7 years, primarily working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, existential crisis, and life transition.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Mental Health Therapist in Round Rock, TX
Searching for therapists in Round Rock starts with knowing what kind of support you want. You may be looking for therapy in Round Rock for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, work stress, or life transitions. As you compare therapists, look for training and listed specialties that match your needs. A therapist’s profile can show whether they use approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or trauma-informed care.
Round Rock has local options, but availability can vary by schedule, neighborhood, and specialty. Virtual appointments can expand your search beyond offices near Old Town, Stone Hill, Brushy Creek, and nearby areas while keeping care with a Texas-licensed therapist. Consider practical details like appointment times, whether the therapist is accepting new clients, and whether a free phone consultation is offered. Reading bios before booking can also help you understand a therapist’s communication style, session structure, and approach to care.
Therapy in Round Rock can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and see your estimated out-of-pocket expense before you book. Headway helps you find therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, many of whom are accepting new clients, and offer clear scheduling options. You can browse profiles, compare fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
