I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself without judgment. I work with teens and adults across the lifespan, with particular experience supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and the challenges that come with change. My background in education has given me a deep understanding of the pressures people face at different stages of life, while my counseling training allows me to support clients in finding greater clarity, confidence, and balance. I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and collaborative, while helping clients recognize their strengths and move toward meaningful change.
Hi there! I work with adolescents and young adults who are navigating a variety of life challenges and mental health concerns. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, women's issues, substance use, PTSD, relationship difficulties, or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), ect., my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy should be a place where you can explore difficult emotions, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop practical skills to help you move toward the life you want.
As a Nigerian American therapist, I also recognize the impact that culture, identity, and family dynamics can have on mental health. Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in College Station
Searching for therapists in College Station starts with finding someone whose training fits what you want to work on. Many people look for support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, stress, or life transitions. As you compare therapists, look for listed specialties, therapy approaches, and experience with concerns like yours. A therapist’s profile can also show whether they use approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, or family therapy.
In a smaller city like College Station, local therapy options may be more limited than in larger Texas markets. Expanding your search to virtual appointments can help you find more Texas therapists while still getting care that fits your schedule. You may also want to compare appointment availability, whether a therapist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading bios before booking can help you understand each therapist’s style, structure, and areas of focus.
Therapy in College Station can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and see your estimated out-of-pocket cost before you book. Headway helps you search for therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, review detailed profiles, and book directly when you’re ready.
If anyone in your family is experiencing or worried about abuse, threats, or coercion, joint family or couples therapy usually isn't the right starting point — individual support is safer. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) and National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
