I’m a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual online therapy in English and Spanish to young adults and adults throughout Washington State. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
Before entering private practice, I worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and held a faculty appointment in Columbia University’s Department of Psychiatry. I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, and I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals.
For more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents, adults, and couples during some of the most difficult and meaningful seasons of their lives. I believe that sometimes it can be difficult to see beyond the darkness in front of us. My role is to listen without judgement while helping you find your way toward the light again.
Amy Harp is a dedicated mental‐health therapist who graduated in 2006 and has been honing her practice across a variety of clinical settings ever since. She specializes in supporting both teens and adults, bringing a compassionate, trauma‐informed approach to the treatment of anxiety, depression, and family‐related stress. Over the years, Amy has also taught parenting classes, helping families build healthier communication patterns and resilience. Her blend of solid academic training, diverse professional experience, and genuine love for guiding individuals through life’s challenges makes her a trusted partner for anyone seeking meaningful, personalized care.
I’ve spent 10 years working with teens and families, and I care deeply about helping people feel understood. I create a space where you can be yourself and feel a sense of belonging, without judgment. I value both family connection and your privacy. Most of all, I believe real change starts with a genuine, comfortable relationship.
I have spent 12 years in nursing, including more than five years as a nurse practitioner. I am board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. That combination matters: psychiatric symptoms do not show up in isolation. Sleep, hormones, chronic illness, medications, family stress, and what you can realistically do this month all belong in the room.
