Hi! My name is Cassie. I am a licensed clinical social worker in both GA and SC. I am devoted to helping individuals grow and overcome their obstacles in life. I have worked with clients from all walks of life. I am able to work with anyone.
With 20 years of clinical experience, I specialize in exposure to trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and fertility issues. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (BA Psychology), and from Harvard University with my Master's of Education (EdM) in Risk and Prevention, and Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Counseling. I provide evidence-based treatments to adults, teens, and children (ages 6+) from various backgrounds, and provide therapy in English and Spanish. I work collaboratively with each client to set and achieve your goals. I'm a parent and appreciate the intense love and efforts along that journey. I love dogs, travel, sports, martial arts, and trying new foods.
I have been a therapist for 13 years. My training is in Expressive Arts Therapy, Somatic Work and Systems Therapies. I have worked in a variety of settings from outdoor education to residential and IOP. Most of my background has been in supporting individuals or families with children with complex developmental needs and neurodiversity. I love working with folks of all ages and backgrounds and am an ally.
Personally, I love crafting, cooking, paddle boarding and traveling to National Parks with my husband and two small children.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me, and I look forward to knowing more about you!
Hiii 👋🏽 I’m Courtney, your community LPC and Doula. I take a grassroots approach to helping people create safe spaces to learn how to feel safe within themselves. Life be lifing for us all, and pressures, -isms, relationships, and survival skills can pull us away from our birthright of joy, peace, and authenticity. I support clients navigating self-harm, anxiety, PTSD, grief, anger management, adjustment concerns, pregnancy and birth experiences, and family planning.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Helping others find hope is my favorite part of what I do. I am professionally licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. My professional background includes individual therapy, executive functioning, relationship concerns, anxiety, life transitions, and multicultural counseling. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and have a special interest in helping people who feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or stuck reconnect with themselves and move forward with intention.
Outside of therapy, I'm an entrepreneur, recording artist, and lifelong learner who enjoys cooking, staying active, dancing to Zumba and Afrobeats, listening to jazz and old-school R&B, and spending time with family and close friends. Those experiences remind me that life is about more than getting through the day. It's about creating a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and aligned with who you are.
I am a compassionate person, who currently serves as a Travel Social Worker, where I provide essential individual and group therapy to clients in need by focusing on clinical assessments and crisis interventions.
