As someone in long‐term recovery who once struggled to launch into adulthood, I understand how overwhelming it can be to rebuild your life from the inside out. I work with adults 17+ of all genders, and I have specific experience supporting people living with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and men who are exploring identity, emotions, and connection.

You may be used to carrying everything on your own. From the outside, it can look like you're managing just fine, but internally you're exhausted from anxiety, past experiences that still affect your relationships, family conflict, or a struggle with substance use that's become harder to ignore. Asking for help isn't easy, but you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I specialize in helping clients navigate substance use and addiction, trauma, men's issues, family issues, and relationship issues so they can build healthier relationships, regain confidence, and create lasting change. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors, believing that meaningful progress begins with honest conversations, practical support, and a space where you feel respected, understood, and challenged to grow.

at inpatient and outpatient settings.

I am a native Texan, auntie, ice cream-loving, roller skating, retired professional athlete who also happens to be a Therapist. My background in the world of mental health dates back 10 years, in my work with families of Autism, Substance abuse and misuse, Student-athletes, Life- transitions, and family therapy. I enjoy introducing people back to themselves as they unpack their past with grace and patience. I am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of AMPT Up For Change, LLC a company established in 2005 to offer counseling services and court approved education classes.

As a therapist I have gained invaluable, hand-on experience with counseling clients who suffers from anxiety and depression.

Provides psychiatry care services to patients ages 6 &up. Prior to starting Phoenix Minds, I was a Nurse Practitioner at Heartland Physicians, worked inpatient, outpatient setting@ Woodland Springs Hospital, Westpark springs behavioral Hospital, Consulted for Encompass health in Woodlands& vision park.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Arlington, and Master of Science in Nursing immediately after. Board certified by ANCC and have 19 years of Nursing experience.
