My name is Marcela Flynn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri with experience supporting children, families, and adults across a variety of clinical and educational settings. I graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia. My professional background includes working with individuals experiencing chronic and persistent mental health challenges, providing crisis intervention services, and supporting clients in psychiatric hospital settings, I have also worked closely with children and families navigating emotional, behavioral, social, and life challenges, helping them build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and access meaningful support systems.

Welcome! I'm Cemetrice a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I belive that seeking help takes courage, and my goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space where you feel heard and supported from the very first visit. I earned my MSN from Northern Kentucky University, and I bring over six years of psychiatric experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I currently hold inpatient privileges at three hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which keeps me connected to full spectrum of mental health care. I work with patients ages 5 and up treating a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more. My approach combines careful medication management with genuine listening because you're more than diagnosis.

In-person psychiatric care in Houston/Cypress, Texas, with telehealth appointments available throughout Texas, Kansas, and Washington. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents and adults.

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and personalized—combining medication management with psychoeducation, lifestyle interventions, and integrative strategies when appropriate.

Counseling is something I chose as a second career after a background in science and years as a writer.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Self-Care Coach, and founder of Rise Up Resiliency Center LLC. Growing up in Kansas City, Kansas, with parents who faced substance use challenges, I bring a unique blend of empathy, personal insight, and professional expertise to my practice. My passion lies in working with individuals, couples, and groups, especially women, teens, and marginalized communities, to help them build resilience and achieve personal growth.

I am a down-to-earth, supportive, nonjudgmental, and open-minded Board Certified Psychiatric NP. I began my work in psychiatric care as a registered nurse treating patients in various hospital settings who were experiencing a mental health crisis. For a more rewarding 1-on-1 approach, I returned to grad school and earned a Masters, and chose to become certified as a Psychiatric NP. I am honored and fortunate to have the opportunity to manage medications for kids and adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, Panic, Sleep problems, and other ailments from a place of encouragement and respect and based on an ever growing library of peer reviewed scientific literature and medical treatment guidelines.

I've spent 20+ years working with people who are smart, self-aware, and still stuck — and there's a reason for that. Insight alone doesn't change deeply worn patterns. What does change them is combining the right clinical approach with someone who actually understands what you're carrying. I work with adults, teens, and children across Kansas via telehealth, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD — as well as LGBTQIA+ affirming care, substance use, and maternal mental health.
