I started my journey in social work nearly 20 years ago, after serving in the military and utilizing my GI Bill to fund my education. My career has taken me through some incredibly challenging environments: from jails to supporting homeless families, and working closely with individuals battling addiction or navigating severe mental health crises.

My background includes supporting individuals experiencing serious mental illness, anxiety, OCD, relationship and interpersonal concerns, low self-esteem, attachment difficulties, occupational stress, and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with teenagers navigating bullying, emotional challenges, family relationships, school concerns, and the transition into adulthood, as well as assisting families with parenting concerns, communication difficulties, and challenging family dynamics. I earned my Master's and Ed.M. degrees in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and have worked in private practice, crisis intervention, substance use treatment, and community mental health settings.
