I hold a master's degree in Addictions and Rehabilitation Counseling and am a license professional clinical counselor in the Minnesota. Before becoming a therapist, I earned my medical degree in Mexico, an experience that deepened my appreciation for the connection between emotional and physical well-being.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012. I utilize a client centered approach in assisting my clients to remove barriers preventing them from living their best life. I utilize a variety of tools and encourage my clients to practice self-advocacy and be an active participant in decision making in their therapy. After all you are the expert on you.

I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.
I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I am known for being friendly, personable, and highly relatable, I focus on building strong connections with those I serve. I love to educate and empower the clients I work with.

In addition to helping individuals with anxiety and depression, I am certified in dialectical behavior therapy and practice accelerated resolution therapy. I also incorporate christian counseling, sand-tray therapy, mindfulness based-therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and incorporate narrative therapy techniques.
I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep interest in the complexities of your story. My clinical training and own story led me to believe your story has a hopeful ending that needs to be rewritten. Sometimes you might like someone to sit with you to clarify, reframe, refocus, rebuild, and remind you of your story you were always meant to live.
I am a trauma trained and informed therapist, with a systematic approach while understanding the individual is absolutely essential to the entire system. Throughout my years in the field, I've been honored to work with individuals, couples, and families ages 18 to 99 resolving conflicts, reconciling relationships, rebuilding the self, and re-envisioning what life can be life when hope is present.
