Are you looking for an experienced mental health professional who listens to you carefully and with respect? Are you wanting a therapist who is honest with you, takes your goals seriously and wants to make sure you are receiving the support you want and deserve? If so, I may be a good fit for you.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of clinical experience and have been working in the behavioral health field since 2005. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to be honest about where you are. I also believe there is no victory too small, and I’m here to recognize and celebrate each step forward with you.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, negative thoughts, unhealthy relationships or the inability to say NO! Are you tired of feeling like nothing will change or your stuck in life because you don't know what to do to make it better? I focus on adults using CBT, REBT, Person Centered and Motivational interviewing to assist clients in learning more about themselves and their perspective on life. I have experience working with many different mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, stress, marital/relationship issues and career struggles to name a few.
Hi, my name is Dr. Lynn Rosenthal. I have many decades of experience helping people with issues presented. I have two Masters degrees and one doctorate in psychology. My experience varies assisting many with different issues within individual, couples, and marital counseling. I also provide clinical supervision and I am a Board Certified Executive Coach. I have afternoon and evening appointment available.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, evidence-based, and stigma-free care to support healing and lasting growth. With a background in emergency and trauma care, I take a collaborative, holistic approach that considers the connection between mind and body. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and mood disorders through a personalized combination of psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle support. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and supported every step of the way, at a pace that feels right for you.
Where an atmosphere of non-judgement exists, lies comfort for one to explore themselves. Mindfulness-based, CBT best describes my style. I value open-mindedness and also feel it is important to address how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Training and education in Community Mental Health from Wilmington University launched a two decade long mission for me to explore the field of psychology and help others to optimize the quality of their life.
