I'm a psychologist who doesn't believe in therapy that spins its wheels. I've worked with adults for over two decades — through addiction, grief, anxiety, trauma, and the complicated stuff that doesn't have a clean label. I'm direct, I don't dance around things, and I use humor when it helps move things forward. Most of my clients come in having already tried something else. My job is to figure out why that didn't stick and do something different. I work in Baltimore in person and virtually across Maryland and Psypact-authorized states.
I am a single women with two grown beautiful daughters. I am a cat lady with two adorable cats who greet me at the door and sleep with me at night. I have been a therapist for many years and thoroughly enjoy getting to know people and witness their growth over time.
Amy enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from children to adults. Amy enjoys working with individuals with physical and hidden disabilities. Amy work with ages 5 to 105! I work with all genders and sexualities, as well as all life stages. She is comfortable working with people from various faith backgrounds. Amy is originally from the Midwest but have been in the Baltimore area for quite a while. She enjoys attending arts-related events as well as spending time in nature. Amy is an animal lover and has 3 cats. She is a fairly outgoing person but a good listener too.
Meeting clients where they are is my specialty. I have extensive experience and training working with survivors of trauma and clients who are facing grief and loss. I offer space for holistic approaches that clients embrace and utilize beyond therapy, and encourage them to grow and heal.
