One of the most empowering factors in my life has been spending 32 years as an Air Force Military Spouse. This empowered me to grow and learn through lived experiences in diverse groups. I’ve been a clinical social worker and prior substance abuse counselor for 30+ years working in a public agency, private practice, and with the US Army at Fort Carson, Colorado and at SHAPE, Belgium. I work across all ages to include both adults and children. In addition to my MSW in clinical social worker, I have an advanced graduate degree in Infant and Early Childhood Special Education Leadership and a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Diversity Studies.

With over 26 years experience as a social worker and 8 years in pastoral care, I bring a unique perspective to our sessions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC016639) in the state of Georgia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH22156) in the state of Florida. I've worked in a variety of settings, such as psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units, community agencies and college campuses. My clients have a wide range in age, gender, sexual orientation, faith, education level, ethnicity, and cultural background. In my practice, I like to focus on life transitions, whether it's leaving a job, becoming a parent, or starting college.

I am an experienced Licensed Psychologist who works with adults and children with a variety of mental health needs. I provide psychological evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and individual therapy. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed my residency at the CAI. My specialty includes working with individuals who need help with depression, anxiety, stress management, conduct disorder, ADHD/ADD, grief and loss.
