You're here because something needs to change, and that takes courage. I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families across Florida and Indiana. I specialize in maternal mental health, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use. I don't do cookie-cutter therapy — I adapt to you, your pace, and your life.
My name is Tristin Ramsay, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 2017. I have been a practicing counselor ever since. I have experience working with many different populations as well as with children, teens and adults. I have worked in treating anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, life changes, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss and behavioral issues.
I’m a board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence‐based care for adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I offer services in English and Spanish to support clients who feel most comfortable in either language. My style is warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive.
As a therapist, I aim to make the client think and explore options and solutions to the spectrum of issues that might be impacting their life. My approach is warm and empathic while direct and challenging at times because I want clients to feel supported while making changes that can help them live the life they want to live, use their voice, and modify behaviors. My expertise is in trauma; therefore, I aim to help clients feel safe in sessions and within themselves in their lives.
If you've found your way here, chances are you're carrying something heavy. Maybe anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that reshaped your world, the exhaustion of new motherhood, or a quiet sense that you've lost track of who you are. Whatever it is, I want you to know you don't have to hold it alone anymore.
I became a therapist because I believe every person's story matters, and because I've seen what happens when someone finally feels safe enough to tell theirs. That's the part of this work I love most: watching people move from stuck and overwhelmed to grounded and free. I bring warmth and empathy to every session, but I'll also be honest with you. My clients often tell me they feel truly heard for the first time, and that's exactly what I'm hoping to give you.
I especially love working with people navigating identity, maternal mental health, grief and loss, cultural and ethnic experiences, and anxiety. I bring a culturally sensitive lens to all of it, because your background, your faith, and your family are part of your story too — not something to leave at the door.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients can show up as their authentic selves. My approach is compassionate, direct when needed, and focused on helping clients build practical tools for everyday life while also exploring deeper emotional patterns and experiences.
I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, stress, identity exploration, and emotional overwhelm. I am passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients and creating an affirming therapeutic space where clients feel respected and understood.
I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to meet clients where they are while helping them move toward healing, clarity, and meaningful growth.
