I believe anyone can live a meaningful and fulfilling life and that we all can change and grow even in the most challenging times. For over twenty years, I have worked with Adults, Couples, Teens/Children, and families from a diverse population, helping clients change problematic behaviors and thinking patterns to achieve wellness and growth.
I’m originally from the North West where I earned a BA in Recreation and Leisure at Eastern Washington University. I began my career overseas working with military members and their families. I had the pleasure of working with Army, Air Force, Navy and Army Recruiting Command as a DOD Civilian. My service took me to Ft. Lewis, WA, Korea, Guam, Germany, and Syracuse NY. I later studied and earned a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Social Work from Syracuse University in New York.
I began to practice as a Social Worker for Indian Health Services with an Apache Tribe in Arizona. My last years of service were with the Veteran Administration as a Social Worker on an Acute Psychiatric Unit in Wyoming and as a Military Sexual Assault Program Manager in Washington.
My travels have exposed me to a diversity of people from many walks of life. I am comfortable with many backgrounds, cultures, believes, and counties of origin. I am welcoming to LBGTQIA, Female and Male alike.
I'm a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who supports teens, young adults, and families working through constant worry, big emotions, focus challenges, and the impact of difficult life experiences. Before specializing in psychiatry five years ago, I spent 13 yeas in emergency medicine, where I learned how deeply people need to feel seen and supported during overwhelming moments. That experience shaped my approach today: blending medical expertise with genuine curiosity, compassion, and respect for YOUR story. My goal is to create a space where you feel, safe, understood, and able to explore what you are going through with clarity and confidence.
Many adults come to therapy wondering, "What's wrong with me?" I believe a more helpful question is, "What has shaped my experience, and what makes sense about the way I think, feel, and respond?" Lasting change begins with understanding yourself—not fixing yourself.
I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD, autism, and AuDHD, as well as adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you've spent years masking, feeling misunderstood, or believing you simply needed to "try harder," therapy can be a place to better understand yourself with curiosity and compassion instead of self-criticism.
I earned my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and bring over 10 years of clinical experience supporting adults with a wide range of mental health challenges, including serious mental illness (SMI), trauma, anxiety, and depression. These experiences have strengthened my belief that healing happens in relationships where people feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted without judgment.
My goal is to help you understand how your mind, emotions, nervous system, and experiences shape the way you move through the world so we can build practical strategies that fit your life—not someone else's expectations. I believe therapy isn't about becoming a different person; it's about understanding yourself more deeply so you can live more authentically, navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My journey in social work began in 2015, and since then, I have had the privilege of walking alongside families and individuals in their most vulnerable moments.
