My name is Tristin Ramsay, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 2017. I have been a practicing counselor ever since. I have experience working with many different populations as well as with children, teens and adults. I have worked in treating anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, life changes, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss and behavioral issues.

My name is Chemal (Sha-mall). I have a Latino - Caribbean background and prescribe to the label of islander. Where I’m from they use the term “crazy people” without clear understanding of what it truly means, but as a therapist and person, I believe differences exist beneficially and I try to understand them all. I aspire to be my best everyday inside and outside of therapy. I love nature, basketball, family and exploring the mind. Therapy is not just a career for me, but a passion.

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years experience working as a therapist, life coach and pastoral counselor. I have worked with clients having a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, parenting and family problems, career challenges, trauma, abuse and disabilities that include psychiatric and physical health issues. My therapy style is warm and interactive.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and my background blends clinical skills in both counseling and nursing. I have years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, relationship patterns, identity questions, and major life transitions.

I’m a clear communicator and bring emotional steadiness and the ability to understand people quickly to my work.

In my practice, I work primarily with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, break long‐standing patterns, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives. I have extensive experience supporting clients who struggle with self‐criticism, avoidance, perfectionism, and the lingering impact of family dynamics. I also work with high‐functioning professionals to help them maximize their insights, achieve balance, and unlock their potential.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m grounded by a long, loving marriage, a close circle of friends, and a life that includes equal parts structure and humor. I’m a dog person, someone who values connection and curiosity, and I try to show up fully in the relationships that matter. These parts of my life shape the way I practice: with steadiness, clarity, and a genuine respect for the complexity of being human.
