I received my graduate degree and licensure from Rider University in community counseling. I have almost two decades of experience in individual, couples, family and group therapy. My specialties include domestic violence, sexual violence, bereavement and other traumas. I am New Jersey State certified in domestic violence and sexual violence. I'm not exclusive to treating trauma since most of my clients are coming in with different issues. Most of my clients are just dealing with life issues. I welcome all diverse clients. My personal journey was not one I would choose. My first husband was diagnosed with cancer in September 2004 and died in February 2006. The experience of spousal caregiving and young widowhood, and 10 years as a federal Special Agent eventually led me to change careers to become a counselor.
