I am a double board-certified family and psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. As a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I believe that healing begins with understanding. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can share your story without judgment and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I provide individualized, evidence-based care for adults facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorders, ADHD/ADD, and sleep disorders.
I am someone who wants to support personal growth in others. Life is rough and we don't always listen to our heads and that's okay. I am someone who tries to meet clients where they are and not judge.
If you’re struggling with your relationship with food, your body, or feeling stuck in cycles of restriction, bingeing, or guilt, you are not alone—and you don’t have to face it by yourself. In my private practice, I specialize in working with individuals navigating eating disorders and disordered eating.
I provide compassionate, individualized therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, chronic dieting, and body image concerns. In addition to eating disorder treatment, I work with children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, substance use, and challenges related to identity and the LGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, respected, & supported.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Berkeley, California. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship patterns, and the lingering effects of difficult or painful experiences. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, high-functioning, and insightful, yet still find themselves stuck in patterns that feel hard to shift alone.
My background includes training in EMDR, somatic and attachment-focused therapy, parts work, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute. I also bring a mindfulness and body-based perspective to therapy through years of yoga and meditation practice.
My style is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented while still practical and grounded. I especially enjoy working with complex trauma, highly self-aware clients, neurodivergent clients, and people who want therapy that goes beyond coping skills alone.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Postpartum Therapist in Oakland, CA
Searching for postpartum therapists in Oakland starts with finding someone whose training matches what you want support with. Postpartum care can include support for postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth-related stress, identity shifts, and relationship strain. As you compare therapists, look for experience with perinatal mental health, postpartum counseling, or talk therapy for postpartum depression. Some therapists may also list a PMH-C credential, which signals specialized training in perinatal mental health.
Oakland offers a strong mix of local and virtual therapy options, which can help you balance clinical fit with day-to-day logistics. New parents may need appointment times that work around infant care, physical recovery, work schedules, or changing routines. Virtual therapy can make it easier to meet with a postpartum therapist when travel to an office is less practical. Before booking, review each therapist’s bio for their approach, availability, session structure, and whether they offer a free phone consultation.
Postpartum therapy in Oakland can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand your out-of-pocket estimate before care begins. Headway helps you search for postpartum therapists who are accepting new patients, review detailed profiles, check insurance coverage, and book directly when you’re ready.
