My approach to therapy is shaped by a rich blend of professional training and lived experience. Over the past 10 years, I’ve supported clients while also integrating insights from my previous career and life journey, allowing me to meet people with empathy, understanding, and authenticity.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in addiction, gambling disorder, trauma, mood disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I am passionate about helping individuals and families break free from cycles of addiction and emotional pain so they can reclaim their lives with purpose, connection, and hope.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20+ years of experience helping children, parents, and caregivers through big feelings and life changes. As a former elementary school counselor and certified K–12 art teacher, I understand the school, social, and family pressures kids and teens face.

As a provider with 40+ years of sobriety, I offer real solutions for substance abuse problems. What makes my practice unique is my personal and professional background in disabilities that goes decades in Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, hearing and vision impairments, severe mental illness (psychosis) and cerebral palsy. In addition, I have completed Certificates In Jungian Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with adolescents and Young Adults, TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and Compassionate Bereavement Care. My education includes a M.S. in Special Education at Johns Hopkins, post-graduate certificate in Behaviors in Autism from University of Massachusetts Lowell, a MSW from Western New Mexico University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Southern California. In addition, I serve all ages.

My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, recognizing the profound impact of trauma on our lives. I believe in the agency of each person, empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey.

I have many years of experience in the counseling field and care deeply for every patient. I have training in Trauma and PTSD as well as OCD. I have experience with crises work and Dealing with Addiction and sexual behaviors. I deal a lot with issues around esteem and depression and anxiety.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. My clinical background includes work with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, foster care youth, and individual navigating high-stress life transitions.

As a bilingual therapist (English and Haitian Creole), I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families within multicultural communities where mental health may be misunderstood or stigmatized. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
