Hi! I'm Kelsey! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and my Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I enjoy working with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, difficult life transitions, relationship or family challenges, or are navigating periods of uncertainty and seeking support as they move forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what you're experiencing.
When life feels overwhelming, it's easy to lose sight of yourself while trying to keep everything else together. Anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, or difficult life experiences can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. You don't have to keep carrying those burdens alone. I work alongside individuals experiencing anxiety, family issues, stress management, grief and loss, and relationship issues so they can build healthier relationships, regain emotional balance, and reconnect with the life they want to live. Working with adolescents, adults, and seniors, I strive to create a compassionate, supportive environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in dysregulated kids and women healing from childhood trauma. I use a playful, relationship-based approach and incorporate therapy animals, which helps clients feel safe quickly.
I tend to work best with families looking for more in-depth, personalized support
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with experience supporting teens, young adults, older adults, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from UT Austin’s Steve Hicks School of Social Work, with a focus on clinical practice and healthcare.
For the past several years, I worked in a cancer hospital providing psychological support to patients and their families as they navigated serious illness, uncertainty, loss, and major life transitions. This experience shaped my particular interest in grief and loss, medical trauma, chronic illness, spirituality, and the emotional impact of health challenges.
I believe our experiences become part of our story, but they do not have to define what comes next. My goal is to create a warm, authentic space where you can better understand what you are experiencing, reconnect with your strengths, and find meaning and a path forward. I am also conversational in Spanish.
Sometimes you know you need support, but you may not know exactly how to put what you're feeling into words. You might be carrying stress from work, family, relationships, or past experiences while trying to keep everything moving. Maybe you're feeling anxious, discouraged, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward after something difficult has happened. I work with children, adolescents, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds who are navigating difficult experiences, trauma, life changes, and emotional challenges. As a counselor in Texas for more than 14 years, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you find a path forward that feels meaningful to you.
