We will walk through whatever the valley of issues are, identify persistent problems and patterns, help you self-confront the way things are, and determine a course of action that will allow you to move forward. I will use both cognitive and somatic methods to help develop your capacity to handle life stressors, regressions, anxiety, and emotional reactivity so that you make self-directed choices from the best in you. We will work on present-moment emotional and physical responses to situations and discern the meaning naturally from these experiences. The approaches used help create a more accurate picture of your experience(s) and can help reorganize the mind/body/spirit connection.

The first session usually involves rapport building and understanding the client's presenting concerns. As therapy continues, we explore a wide range of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that come up during sessions. Clients may notice what's processed can create distress. Clients walk through the tough stuff first before they start to feel better. A successful client is willing to stay the course and face themselves with honesty, transparency, and openness.
