If you’d like to, you’ll be able to transition to in-person sessions with your therapist or psychiatrist when guidelines allow.

Frequently asked questions
How do video sessions work?
Each provider chooses their own platform for video sessions — it’s not held on the Headway site. Your therapist will reach out to you ahead of your session with the link or instructions to dial in.
How do I get the most out of video sessions?
Find a quiet place to conduct the session. If you’re using a laptop, we recommend pausing notifications so you can focus. It also helps to place your computer on a table or other stable surface, rather than your lap.
Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?
Yes! Headway makes it possible for therapists to see you virtually on your plan. All insurance plans we work with include virtual sessions, so you’ll be covered the same way as in-person.
