I work with adults who have noticed their use of substances becoming disruptive to their life. They want to change their patterns and habits before other areas are affected. I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with years of experience walking alongside individuals and families through some of life's most tender and difficult chapters — aging, illness, caregiving, grief, and major life transitions. I've worked across hospital, hospice, palliative care, dementia care, and community settings, and that breadth has taught me that every person's story is deeply unique.
Being here for you during your most vulnerable moments is truly a gift to me. I feel honored to listen and hold space for you so that you can move through whatever is bothering you. My hope is to help you realize your full potential in a space of non-judgment, comfort and healing.
I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. From there I started working with Veterans at the VA, which I have been doing for the past 15 years. I specialize in trauma informed care, strengths based therapy and solution oriented care.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Greenville
Searching for therapists in Greenville starts with finding care that matches what you want to work on. People often look for therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or stress. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties, approach, and experience fit your needs. A profile that mentions cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or support for specific life stages can help you narrow your choices.
In a smaller city like Greenville, the number of nearby therapy offices may be more limited than in larger North Carolina markets. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in North Carolina. Some people prefer an in-person setting, while others look for virtual appointments that fit around work, school, caregiving, or commute time. Before booking, review each therapist’s bio for availability, session format, communication style, and whether they offer a free phone consultation.
Therapy in Greenville can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you find many therapists who accept insurance, are accepting new patients, and offer upfront cost estimates after you enter your insurance details. You can browse therapists, compare profiles, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
