I’m a dual-licensed psychotherapist (LMHC, LCAT) providing online therapy to adults across New York State.
My work integrates trauma-informed care with evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS-informed approaches, and psychodynamic therapy.
I work with adults who appear composed externally yet feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or relationally stuck beneath the surface. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals navigating demanding professional or personal roles who notice patterns they’re ready to understand and shift.
My style is warm, attuned, and thoughtfully direct. I value depth, clarity, and accountability. Our work focuses on strengthening emotional regulation, deepening insight, and refining relational patterns in ways that support sustainable, meaningful change.
If you’re seeking focused, depth-oriented therapy and are ready to engage thoughtfully in this process, I look forward to the possibility of working together.
Hello! I am so happy to introduce myself to you. I have over 20 years of experience working as a therapist. I love being a therapist because I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know their stories. I’m a firm believer in treating the person in front of me, not the diagnosis or code. I don’t believe in seeing someone as their struggle. I help people cope with their symptoms or challenges and to become the best version of themselves. I use many therapeutic frameworks to accomplish this. I never follow one framework only. That shortchanges the opportunities for improvement to me.
I am a mental health counselor who graduated with my MSEd from St. John's University with my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I incorporate various theories and view counseling as integrative and eclectic approach to best suit needs of patients. Several which I use include:CBT, REBT, CPT, Behavior Therapy & Mindfulness-based Interventions including: (DBT, MBCT, & MBSR). I also use Motivational Interviewing (MI), Gestalt, Existential, SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) & others.
Welcome to Radiant Mind Psychiatry! My name is Liandra and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 3 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, and a variety of child, adolescent, and adult mental health conditions.
In addition to medication management, I provide supportive therapy and incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help patients develop coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and achieve lasting progress.
I provide care for children (ages 6 and older), adolescents, adults, and older adults. All appointments are conducted virtually, offering convenient and accessible mental health care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, life transitions, or behavioral concerns, I am committed to helping you navigate challenges and move toward improved mental health and overall wellness.
I have always been interested in what makes each of us who we are and how we relate to others. Throughout my training to become a clinical psychologist, I trained in many different settings including university counseling centers, hospitals, community mental health centers and private practices. I ultimately chose to open my own practice so that I could have the freedom to meet each client's specific needs. I am so grateful for the ability to walk alongside each of my clients as they navigate the challenges and joys of life.
How can I help? Are you are having trouble achieving or discovering your goals, or has life become overwhelming? Perhaps you have been feeling anxious or depressed. Maybe just not like yourself and are in search of a place to talk and process your feelings. You may be looking for help in a specific area of life or feel that something is missing. Whatever you are searching for, effective therapy and coaching will help. I aim to personalize my approach to you. Although many of us have similar struggles, only you are you.
I'm a licensed mental health counselor with a doctorate in psychology and 20 years of experience working with adults and seniors, including people navigating ADHD, trauma, grief, mood disorders, and major life transitions. My approach is faith-informed: I integrate a Christian worldview into my clinical work for clients who want that, and I offer a secular, evidence-based framework for those who don't. Either way, I take the whole person seriously — not just the symptom. I completed brain health training through the Amen Clinic, which has meaningfully shaped how I think about ADHD and cognitive health in older adults. I'm also a published author: my 2019 book came out of doctoral research on fear, dementia, and the aging mind.

Headway helps you manage obsessive-compulsive disorder with expert-guided support — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing an OCD Therapist in New York
Searching for OCD therapists in New York starts with finding someone trained in obsessive-compulsive disorder and exposure and response prevention therapy. Exposure and response prevention, or ERP, is a common evidence-based therapy for OCD, and not all therapists have specific training in it. If you’re looking for support with obsessive thoughts, compulsions, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or related stress, review each therapist’s listed specialties and approach. Look for profiles that mention OCD, ERP, cognitive behavioral therapy, or acceptance and commitment therapy.
Across New York, available OCD therapy options can vary between New York City, Buffalo, Albany, and more rural areas. Virtual care can expand your search beyond the closest office while still letting you choose in-person care when location matters. As you compare therapists, look beyond whether OCD appears in a profile. A therapist who lists ERP training, OCD-focused experience, free phone consultations, and appointment times that fit your schedule may be a stronger match than one who notes general familiarity with OCD. Reading bios can help you understand how each therapist structures sessions and supports people with OCD.
The cost of OCD therapy in New York can be significant without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make care easier to plan for. Headway helps you find OCD therapists who are accepting new patients, take your insurance, and offer upfront cost estimates before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with 3305 insurance plans, so you can browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
