I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience providing individual, couples, and group therapy to adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, chronic mental health concerns, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive environment where you can better understand what is getting in the way, develop practical strategies for change, and build greater resilience and emotional well-being.
I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and have trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including university counseling centers, inpatient and outpatient mental health programs, skilled nursing facilities, and community behavioral health agencies. My clinical experience includes diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, individual and family psychotherapy, couples counseling, and working with adults managing chronic and complex mental health conditions. Throughout my career, I have also held clinical leadership positions, including serving as a Clinical Director of Services and Training and as a Regional Director within behavioral health organizations. In these roles, I have overseen clinical quality, supervised and trained clinicians, developed professional training programs, and worked closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on mental health and strengthened my ability to understand each client within the larger context of their relationships, experiences, environment, and overall well-being.
My practice works to help women who are facing issues with anxiety, attachment style, codependency, low self esteem, and unhealthy relationship dynamics. My person-centered approach means that your unique experiences and feelings will always be the focal point of our work

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in New Jersey
Searching for therapists in New Jersey starts with finding the right fit for your needs, location, and schedule. Across the state, therapy options can vary between urban, suburban, and rural areas, so it helps to look for a therapist whose listed specialties match what you want support with. That may include anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, or life transitions. You can also look for training in approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or acceptance and commitment therapy.
Your search may look different in Newark, Jersey City, Trenton, South Jersey, or a smaller New Jersey community. Some people prefer an in-person therapist close to home or work, while others choose virtual sessions for more scheduling options. Beyond specialty, review whether a therapist is accepting new patients, offers appointment times that fit your calendar, and provides a free phone consultation. Reading therapist profiles can help you understand their style, areas of focus, and what a first session may include before you book.
The cost of therapy in New Jersey can vary, and using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you search for licensed therapists who are accepting new patients, see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking, and compare virtual or in-person options in one place. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and you can enter your insurance details to confirm coverage for your specific plan and location. Browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
